A converted Manor House with a great history. Before being transformed into a hotel, it was the home of the Marquis of Queensberry, who formulated the “Queensberry” boxing rules in what is now the hotel’s restaurant. Built in 1814. Its interior has retained traditional period charm with ornate ceilings and wood panelled large master staircase. As you relax in the elegant lounge with its original Adams fireplace amidst period furniture, enjoy the peace and quiet, and reminisce of bygone years.
