If you want your wedding day to be a more personal experience for just the two of you then let us take care of the details while you relax and enjoy every second of your special day together. What’s more it can all be arranged by one simple telephone call.

On the morning of your big day you will be personally greeted at the airport or railway station and driven back to our warm inviting 18th Century Manor House. Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle airports are about 90 minutes away, Carlisle railway station is 30 minutes drive and Lockerbie railway station is less than 5 minutes drive.

On arrival at Lockerbie Manor you will be met at the door with a welcoming glass of champagne. James, Katie or Andy will then show you around the beautiful lounges and restaurant each with big log fires and original wood panelling that make Lockerbie Manor so special. Once you have settled in you will be shown to our new Honeymoon Suite where you will find flowers, chocolates and champagne on ice to help you relax whilst you prepare for your ceremony.  

Once you are ready, you will be presented with a bouquet and buttonhole and a piper will lead you from the honeymoon suite to our Intimate Douglas Room which will be beautifully set up for your ceremony. We can arrange for an organist, pianist or harpist to play for you if you so wish. With the option of either a civil ceremony or a religious one you can tailor your special moment to be just what you want it to be. If you prefer our team would be quite happy to stand as witnesses.

After the service Champagne will be served and you will be asked to cut your wedding cake before being whisked off by your photographer to capture some memories to show your family and friends back at home.

Your Wedding Breakfast can either be served in the privacy of your own room, in the Douglas Room or at a secluded table in our Queensbury Restaurant. Your refreshments for the evening are compliments of Lockerbie Manor.

In the morning you can enjoy a full traditional Scottish breakfast either in your room or in the Queensbury Restaurant before your driver collects you to take you back to the airport / railway station.
To honour such a wonderful memory we feel it would be fitting to send you off with something other than a long and happy marriage to look forward to, we decided upon inviting you back to Lockerbie Manor to celebrate your first wedding anniversary and of course your accommodation for the night will be compliments of Lockerbie Manor!
